The nightclubs in
downtown of the State College usually open at around nine and late until
midnight two o’clock. The club is dark enclosed space where men and women mingle,
dance and party at night. Most of them would encounters leading to
sexual behaviors during the same night. The club is usually crowded, sweaty and very
annoying. Music is played very loud through the whole night.
The music in nightclubs
is commonly a mix of songs played by a DJ through a powerful PA system. There
are many genres of music in the nightclub; the most
popular are hip hop, techno, house and trance. Many nightclubs in State college are allowed people to
enter based on the age. There are different themes in each day of the week.
There is one night of the week (usually
Tuesday or Wednesday) allowing students who are above 18 and under 21 to enter
the nightclubs, but they are not allowed to drink alcohol. The students who are
underage usually pay more money than the students who are over 21. Before you
enter you need to show your ID or license to the doormen, they need to look at
your ID to make sure you are 18 or above and compare you and your picture. The
students who are under 21 and those who are 21 are separated in two places in
the club; there is a metal fence in between. Students who are under 21 are
marked by a permanent neon color marker, which can identified they are under
21, and they are not allow to drink alcohol and party only.
Gender identity is what people think they are, and how a person feels
inside about them. It generally described as one's private sense of being a man or a woman. A lot of students in
State College are considering themselves as the gender they are belonging to
and they are comfortable with their gender. For example, a girl who was born
with a female genital organ, they are more likely to wear clothes that is
suitable for girls and portrait the girls’ behavior. Girls in the campus
usually wear nice clothes when they go classes, they would wear makeup and make
sure their hair is perfect. It can show they are feminine.
So in the nightclub,
ladies usually keep their clothing short, sweet and slinky. College young girls
are very sexy if they go to night club, they wear skirts, strapless dress, tube
dress, which can show their perfect curve shaped body, and their sexy long
legs. Micro mini-skirts are the top choice worn by many girls when they go
clubbing. College girls are usually tall and slim with average sized breasts.
Even though they are tall, they still wear a pair of platform pump or wedged
pump to make them taller, which have more confident.
The most important
point is when girls go to club; it took them approximately two to three hours
to get ready. They need to put on make-ups, do their hair curly, wave or
straighten their hair. They need to choose what to wear, and what kind of
accessories fit their clothing. However, it is very easy for men; they usually
put on casual clothes, not fancy, not formal suits, and wear some perfume, then
they are ready to get
out. Girls in the clubs would be happy
if they get the men’s attention on them, everyone
is eyeing her with admiration. So it is one of the reasons it took
long for girls to get everything done and go out. They need to look nice, perfect
and sexy.
